Hop aboard for a sweet and charming story in The Secret Candy Drawer. This wholesome children's tale is bound to tickle your funny bone with some uproarious storytelling by Marci Carrasco and lively illustrations by Geri Hellman. Phoebe is someone young readers will instantly be able to relate to. Her love for sweets and candies and the way she constantly thinks about them is not only funny but also teaches readers an important lesson in restraint. Sometimes, too much of a good thing can be harmful. I loved the portrayal of the dentist's office, and Hellman's artwork makes it even more immersive for the young reader. If you're looking for a fun tale, this is the perfect picture book. Recommended to kids below the age of ten.
